Job Description:

NDi is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will be instrumental in the management of a Commercial Solution for a Classified (CSfC) system within the DoD enterprise infrastructure. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in working on classified DoD networks, a thorough understanding of certificate management, and knowledge of Zero Trust principles.

Candidates must reside in the following locations:North Carolina, Arizona, and Washington State

Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Must possess Active Secret security clearance.
  • The position is onsite and requires presence at designated work location.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline related to the position.
  • Required Years of Experience- 5 years.
  • Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) implementations and associated requirements.
  • Experience applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) on classified and unclassified domains.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Active Directory.
  • Working knowledge of various networking technologies and enclaves, including SIPRNet, NIPRNet, RIPR, VOSIP, ForeScout, McAfee, TACLanes, Vlans, ACLs, Frame Relay, Graylog, Cisco ASA 55xx, and Cisco NGFW.
  • Familiarity with the virtual network environment.
  • Experience using and analyzing data from network scanning tools, ACAS/NESSUS.

Certifications-

  • Current DoD 8570 Certification for IAT level II (Sec+, CCNA, CySA+, GISCP, GSEC, CND, SSCP).
  • Ability to obtain one of the following Computing Environment Certifications- MD-101, MD-102, AZ-104, CCNA, Server+, NetApp.

Preferred Qualifications-

  • Experience or working knowledge of Commercial Solutions for Classified Programs (CSfC).
  • VMware or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI
  • Hands-on experience working with virtual networks.
  • CCNA or equivalent networking certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and direct the configuration and operation of a CSfC enterprise solution.
  • Lead and direct the work of other technical staff for day-to-day system administration, optimization, and user assistance.
  • Under the direction of the technical lead, conduct capacity and performance analysis, providing recommendations for system configuration changes and upgrades.
  • Leverage SIEM tools to ensure the efficiency and performance of the solution.
  • Work with the team's technical writers to develop and update procedures, conducting training and skills assessments as needed.
  • Collaborate with Security Leads and engineer staff to provide security expertise and maintain the security of classified and unclassified networks. Includes the application of STIG and remediation of vulnerabilities.
  • In coordination technical staff perform audit log reviews and develop remediation strategies for network security.
  • Work with technical staff to resolve network and system vulnerabilities, recommending counteractive strategies to protect the network. Provide POAandM verbiage as needed to the Security Tam.
  • Interact with Network Engineers, System Engineers, and government security officials to maintain system compliance and minimize security risks.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. government security practices and regulations.
  • Keep technical and security staff aware of anomalies within the enterprise infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with technical engineers to troubleshoot security and network problems and respond to security breaches.
  • Communicate complex technical issues in simplified terms to relevant staff.
  • Aid the security team and technical ngineers in reviewing, evaluating, and testing application controls as needed.
