Melling Machine Operator in Farwell, Michigan

This person safely operates various kinds of fabricating machinery that cuts, shapes, welds, brazes, assembles, and bends metal sheets, tubes, and sub-assemblies as well as performing hand assemblies and packaging operations. 

This is a 3rd shift position beginning of the week is Sunday night. The successful candidate will have a history of good attendence at work.  Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.

  • Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
  • Measures, gages, and visually inspects work piece to determine accuracy of operation performed.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 40 lbs.  
  • Comfortable and able to navigate computer programs for tracking production requirements.
  • Ability to complete variable measuring and documenting accurately at the required timeframes.
