Role Description

To provide cover across certain key roles within the department, during the upgrade of our Financial Systems (“Project Cumulus”).

This position will provide critical support to a busy Finance team during a period of development, testing, and implementation of a new Financial System. The role would suit an experienced Finance lead, who thrives working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines, has a versatile approach, and can proactively and quickly take on new tasks.

The role is a great opportunity to gain wide exposure across Live Nation’s finance department, with the potential to extend or convert to a permanent position.

  • Versatile, proactive, able to pick processes up quickly and confidently.

  • Significant time spent gaining experience of working in a busy Finance function, with detailed practical knowledge across both Transaction Processing and Management Accounting.

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

  • Excellent Excel skills. It would also be desirable to have experience of Oracle Financials.

  • Desirable to have prior experience working in the industry, to be able to hit the ground running.

  • Desirable to have prior experience of a SOX controlled environment.

What the role includes

  • Provide cover for a range of tasks normally carried out by the Financial Controller, the Head of Management Accounts and the Finance Manager, whilst those individuals form part of the “Project Cumulus” (replacement of Oracle EBS and EPM, with Oracle Cloud and OneStream) team. Tasks would include but would not be limited to:

  • Preparation and submission of the monthly cashflow forecast report o Review and approval of quarterly VAT returns o Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation reviews

  • Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet Variances reports and quarterly submission of variance explanations

  • Monthly P&L variance reporting reviews

  • Monthly Sponsorship forecast reviews – reconciling forecast submissions against Salesforce

  • Reports Review of 2025 budgets

  • Deal with escalated AR & AP related issues

  • Approval of payments for release on online banking (after initial period) o Show project close reviews

  • Preparation of Sponsorship Accounting Memo’s for Contracted deals

  • Identify any new tours with currency guarantees from itineraries circulated. Arrange approvals and initiate FX forward contracts and currency purchases

  • Ad hoc projects as requested by the VP Finance and wider senior finance team
