About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced lawyer to join the LexisPSL team and contribute to the online practical guidance and current awareness offering of the LexisPSL Banking & Finance module.

The successful candidate will be a lawyer qualified in England and Wales with excellent technical and practical knowledge and experience of at least one of (i) derivatives (ii) debt capital markets (iii) structured products or (iv) securitisation law and practice.

The primary objective is to deliver indispensable content that our customers love. To do that, you will need to keep your finger on the pulse of Derivatives and Capital Markets legal developments, and engage with practicing lawyers.

Responsibilities

  • Creating, developing, and maintaining a market-leading content set for the PSL module modules (practice notes, precedents, checklists, flowcharts)

  • Monitoring developments relevant to our customer base

  • Working closely with LexisPSL Hub to produce a market-leading current awareness offering

  • Engaging proactively with customers and contacts in law firms

  • Assisting with customer questions via customer feedback or the LexisAsk service and developing Q&A materials

Requirements

  • UK qualified lawyer, with significant and broad experience of derivatives, debt capital markets, structured products or securitisation law and practice

  • Excellent knowledge both technically and in the practical application—of relevant banking and finance laws, issues, processes, and procedures

  • Awareness of the legal issues and developments affecting the banking and finance industry

  • Ability to communicate complex legal and procedural concepts and their practical application concisely and clearly
