Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Construction Superintendent to join our team! In this role you will get to o versee a northern active construction/remediation project, lead and manage various construction packages, and provide expertise and technical assistance to a team managing ongoing construction remediation projects at a unique northern abandoned mine site.

This position requires you to travel to site on a 2 week on and 2 week off rotation.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Oversee construction work packages at the Faro Mine Remediation Project alongside the construction team.

  • Support the director and project managers in schedule implementation, cost control, and subcontractor management.

  • Provide hands-on coordination and supervision of construction operations and personnel.

  • Direct personnel in planning, scheduling, and executing work within budget and quality standards.

  • Promote workplace safety and environmental excellence.

  • Review plans and specifications, identify scope gaps, and submit RFIs for constructability clarification.

  • Identify Changes in the field and implement the Management of Change process.

  • Coordinate changes or RFIs with project management through plan red-lining.

  • Plan and schedule project milestones and track labor and material costs.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • 8+ years’ cumulative demonstrated work experience related to the construction industry in a senior role or progressively more senior roles across.

  • At least three years in the last ten years demonstrating the resource’s experience as a team lead / as a supervisor.

  • At least three (3) projects or three (3) years combined experience in the last five years demonstrating the resource’s expertise in effectively managing a large number of subcontractors and coordinating construction work.

  • At least three (3) projects or three (3) years combined experience in the last 5+ years demonstrating the resource’s expertise in overseeing the development of project budgets, schedules, and progress reports.

  • Completion of a diploma or degree in Civil/Construction Engineering is preferred.

  • Project Management Professional certification or equivalent is preferred

  • Front Line Supervisor training.
