MSX International is looking for a Key Accounts Manager to drive Trade Parts for the manufacturer through Fleet Operators, Lease Companies, Independent Repairers and Accident Repair Centres.

The Role

This role is responsible for Key Account Management within the Automotive parts sector for one of our main global prestige automotive clients. Hybrid working from home and at least one day per week in the client office in Farnborough but will also involve travel as required for the role. The Key Accounts Manager will be responsible for driving parts sales into existing and prospective Key Accounts, with a focus on enhancing our current client partnership and increasing overall incremental sales revenue and profitability.

Additionally, the Key Accounts Manager will:

  • Increase Trade Parts sales through existing and new Key Accounts utilising the manufacturers Trade Parts Programme to achieve the sales objectives

  • Deliver market analysis and competitive studies to identify opportunities for further enhancement

  • Support strategic future planning to assist with programme direction whilst maintaining the market competitive position and customer service offering

  • Develop new and existing Key Accounts to increase parts purchases through the trade parts sales

  • Manage the customer relationship between the Retail Network and the Key Accounts

  • Implement the Manufacturer business plan across all Key Accounts

  • Manage Key Account performance on an ongoing basis and report back to the Programme Manager

  • Communicate monthly programme reporting to ensure performance is tracking against KPI’s and targets

    About you

    Our ideal Key Account Manager will be an excellent communicator with high level of experience in Trade Parts and strong customer relationship skills.

    To be successful in this role the Key Accounts Manager will:

  • Creative approach to Key Account Management

  • Extensive parts department experience

  • High level of experience of Trade Parts to deliver performance increase

  • Excellent knowledge of automotive parts industry (OEM / OES)

  • Proven track record in sales and target achievement

  • Able to negotiate deals at key stakeholder and decision maker level

  • Experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Confident approach in conducting high level management meetings and reviews

  • Ability to travel within the UK Market
