We are looking for an experienced Training and Development Specialist to join our team to assist in the design and facilitation of internal training programs for the multifamily division. With a passion to better understand the real estate industry, the Training and Development Specialist will collaborate with subject matter experts throughout our organizations various business units, and work to quickly build training programs that best meet the adapting needs of our varied workforce. This individual will design training materials using a host of current software, deliver instructional content, and support our workforce in all areas of our LMS.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver training curricula for web-based learning, classroom instruction, and blended presentations.

  • Produce training materials, educational aids, and documentation in a multitude of formats, using print and electronic media.

  • Collaborate with the all departments and subject matter experts to develop training for job specific skills, compliance, policy understanding, and continuous improvement.

  • Assist in planning, developing, and implementing yearly training initiatives in accordance with our core values and long-term vision.

  • Facilitate end-user training and provide support through the Training helpdesk.

  • Assist in the preparation of training sessions by maintaining instructional materials, facilities, equipment, and records. LMS

  • Maintain the functionality of the Learning Management System.

  • Assign training modules, track progress of learners, and analyze LMS usage data.

  • Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of current systems, policies and procedures, learning models, instructional design, and technology.

  • Present a positive and professional image of Friedman training by building rapport and respectfully communicating with learners, department leaders, and stakeholders.

  • Provide support and/or leadership to assigned projects.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Training, Business, Communication preferred

  • 2-5+ years’ experience in a leadership role, demonstrating ability to influence, coach and inspire individuals to achieve departmental and individual performance goals.

  • Understanding and ability to utilize core learning principles: Instructional Design, Micro Learning, Blended Learning, Learning Management Systems and Learning organizational strategy and design

  • Excellent computer software skills with working knowledge of all MS Office Products

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple requests and obligations to facilitate a smooth, organized workflow; ability to determine urgency of issues.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent customer service/consulting/collaborating skills

  • Presentation/group facilitation skills

  • Must be able to interact with all levels and disciplines of employees

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Property management or real estate experience

  • Experience managing projects

  • Knowledge of and application of adult learning theories

  • Experience creating processes

  • Experience training on systems
