Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes customers as they enter and thanks them as they leave.
  • Retail floor sales of all handheld equipment, walk-behind equipment, lawn and garden tractors, and zero-turn riders to homeowners.
  • Builds customer confidence by making the store experience interactive, engaging, and reassuring effectively using store displays and interactive devices for customers.
  • Maximizes customer experience by "solving the whole problem" (as opposed to pushing products); Identifies customer needs and directs them to an appropriate product; Uses suggestive selling and recommends items that will appeal to customer budget and needs.
  • Answers any questions the customer may have. Handles customer inquiries as they relate to product offerings, pricing, billing etc.; Handles customer escalations.
  • Assisting customers to make decisions about equipment based on their needs and desires.  Interactions happen in-store, on the phone, and via email and text. 
  • Following up on quotes and past sales to maximize sales opportunities. 
  • Demonstrating the safe and effective use of equipment to customers. 
  • Knows the product's specifications, price, function, and how it compares to similar competing products.
  • Maintains showroom appearance including cleanliness of equipment, floors, and displays, completeness of displays, proper tagging and point of sale merchandising.
  • Loads customer equipment and gives demonstration of purchased equipment and prepping of handheld equipment.
