Job Summary:

PACCAR, the global manufacturer of heavy-duty transportation equipment, including Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF trucks, seeks aRegulatory Senior Engineer to support emissions regulations at its Technical Center in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Learn more at.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead CARB, EPA & EU emissions regulation guidance within PACCAR product development teams Communicate emissions regulation / regulatory requirements, agency expectations & corporate policies to PACCAR product development teams Participate in emissions regulation rulemaking development with CARB & EPA Review PACCAR proposed powertrain architectures to assess emissions compliance impact Support a weekly regulatory compliance guidance meeting to provide emissions regulation guidance to PACCAR product development teams Participate in industry meetings (EMA, SAE, etc.) for awareness and to inform key stakeholders within PACCAR

Qualifications: Comprehensive understanding of CARB, EPA or EU emissions regulations Diesel engine experience preferred Minimum 8 years of experience in either emissions regulatory compliance, certification, controls, calibration, validation, or verification activities Experience with industry meetings impacting emissions compliance such as EMA, SAE, AAI, etc. Experience with Matlab, Doors Next Generation, or other similar tools Experience in preparing and presenting technical information to management Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio Works well independently and in a team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Interested in working in a dynamic organization

Education:

Undergraduate degree (ABET accredited) in engineering or other related science disciplines required Advanced technical degree (Master) preferred
