Network Engineer (3 Openings):

Build, install, configure, administer, maintain and support various network and network operating systems. Plan, install, configure and upgrade network and maintain network performance. Provide technical support for network related hardware/software. Recommend hardware and software upgrades and deploy security standards on a daily basis for server and call support. Establish and implement policies and procedures for network usage and monitor reliability and security of network infrastructure and operating systems across multiple platforms. Maintain IT infrastructure as well as provide direction in promoting new technologies and improvements and operational procedures. Install and configure the latest Cisco 9800 Wi-Fi controller with fiber multi-mode uplinks. Configuration and troubleshoot on Routers of IPSec VPNs, multicast, MPLS VPNs using Static Route for new customer site deployment. Configuring network devices for tacacs+, Syslog, SNMP, DHCP, and DNS. The configuration of 2500, 4000 series cisco wireless LAN controllers for access points. Configuration and troubleshooting on Routers of IPSec VPNs, multicast, OSPF, BGP routing protocols. Planning the placement of wireless access points and maintaining wireless devices to provide seamless connectivity. Perform virtual machines backups and data recovery operations using VMWare. Perform data backups and disaster recovery and set parameters for user access and implement measures to safeguard against unauthorized access to network servers by deploying intrusion detection system. Experience must include utilizing: Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, VLAN, STP, BPDU, Routing Protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), SOLAR WINDS, ITSM, Wireshark, SNMP, VMWare NSX VDC, VRF, VRF-lite, VxLAN, Cisco ASA Firewall. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree or a foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering (Any) or related with 1 year of relevant IT experience as a Computer/Engineering Professional. In lieu of the above, will also accept a Bachelor's degree or a foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering (Any), or related with 5 years of progressive IT experience as a Computer/Engineering Professional. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.  Job locations in Farmington Hills, MI & various unanticipated client sites nationally requiring relocation & travel to these sites involving short & long term assignments.
