Position Summary:

Join our Engineering Finance team in Farmington Hills to support financial operations and analysis for innovative projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute Month-End closing and variance analysis for reporting purposes.

  • Conduct Mid-Month forecasting and variance analysis for reporting purposes.

  • Manage fixed assets effectively.

  • Analyze and explain variances against Budget and Forecast.

  • Support Accounts Receivable/Payable issues, Cost Center tracking, and Engineering project controlling to maximize revenue growth, profitability, and cash flow generation.

  • Maintain and report financial information in compliance with financial policies, reporting schedules, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Ensure all work procedures are documented and updated as necessary.

  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with various levels of business unit personnel, Shared Service Centers, and Engineering teams.

  • Safeguarding company assets by accurately accounting for capital spending and ensuring proper identification of company property.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, including at least 2 years of analysis experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Drive high-quality, accurate, and timely financial and operational analysis and reporting.

  • Proactive approach and dedication to teamwork.

  • Commitment to outstanding customer service and continuous improvement.

  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office and SAP systems.

Pay Details: $31.00 per hour
