Summary:

The eCommerce Sales and Customer Service Representative will assist customers to make decisions about new equipment, parts, and services by communicating online, phone, marketplaces, email, text, and chat.

?Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all requests. Engaging with customer, providing product knowledge, quotes, closing the sale, scheduling service, delivery and/or pickup.
  • Following up on quotes and past sales to maximize sales opportunities. 
  • Prospecting new customers through online and social channels.
  • Engage with customers that have large order volume or commercial customers and seek additional business.
  • Develop product content & videos to include product reviews, how to operate new equipment, unboxing videos, etc.
  • Share content and expert advice on social channels and actively engage with followers.
  • Travel to all stores taking pictures, video, and gathering attributes of used equipment for selling on social channels and website.
  • Answer inbound calls, emails, text messages for company website.
  • Provide customers with order status, request documentation from customers to avoid fraudulent orders.
  • Develop relationships and communicate with store locations and drivers to smoothly transition the customer for in-store or delivery needs.
  • Update master pricing spreadsheets and showroom floor tags.
  • Review and modify xls of google keyword searches based on master pricing spreadsheets.
  • Work in conjunction with the marketing department in developing content and strategies.
  • Participate in company Marketing events.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Minimum of one year eCommerce and Retail experience required (processes, concepts, and best practices).
  • Comfortable on camera and ability to multitask.
  • Strong customer service skills including email, blog, and social.
  • Strong sales and prospecting skills with the ability to close the sale.
  • Personal or professional background experience with Outdoor Power Equipment
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and navigating websites.
  • Schedule: 25-30 hours per week year-round with potential overtime during peak times (especially spring). Position is hourly non-exempt.
  • Local Travel -- up to 15%
  • Onsite
