Phoenix Medical Supply Delivery Driver & Technician in Farmington Hills, Michigan

ENTRY LEVEL POSITION; DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE**

MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, START TIME OF 9AM, END TIME OF 5PM, HOURS MAY CHANGE DEPENDING ON DAY & COMPANY NEEDS*

  • JOB DESCRIPTION -

Delivery supplies and equipment as prescribed by a physician to patient. Set-up and demonstrate supplies to patients, staff, family and/or caregivers.

  1. Sets up, administers, and interprets purpose of each product as prescribed by the physician.

  2. Sets up, attaches to patients, operates, and monitors such equipment as ultrasonic nebulizer oxygen therapy.

  3. May assemble, test, monitor, clean and sterilize all respiratory therapy and pulmonary equipment to ensure proper operating conditions, performing minor repairs when necessary.

  4. Checks supply stocks and reorders supplies as needed.

  5. Prepares and distributes reports on procedures performed.

  6. Assures accurate charges for all equipment usage and tests performed; maintains files and records.

  7. Connects with patients, explaining procedures to any fears and anxieties to elicit cooperation during testing and treatment.

  8. Takes emergency calls.

MINIMUM LEVEL OF PREPARATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED FOR THE JOB:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.

  2. Basic one to three months orientation required

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  1. Good surroundings. Negligible disagreeable working conditions.

  2. Vehicle

  3. Warehouse

  4. Able to lift over 50 lbs.

  5. May be required to go into high-crime areas.

  6. Each situation will be discussed per occurrence.
