[Spherion is interviewing qualified candidates for a Software Quality Assurance Manager position. In this role you will lead several project teams through the entiresoftwaredevelopment lifecycle from concept to delivery with the goal of driving product development to accomplish the companys long-range goals.

[Salary $135-155k/year DOE

Responsibilities: **[-[Assist in the development of engineering goals and strategies which are in alignment with the companys goals -Assess and identify strategies for team member growth and succession planning -Provide coaching / mentoring to team members on requirements,softwaredevelopment, and testing best practices -Work with engineering management and team members to facilitate all aspects of projects: define, schedule, prioritize, track, and proactively communicate the status of multiple projects [-Advise and encourage engineering and project management utilizing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools and best practices to deliverqualitysoftwareprojects per plan -Track and prioritize tasks across multiple product releases and efforts simultaneously utilizing ALM -Develop and monitor defect rates and leadqualityefforts to identify areas for improvement -Lead planning, estimation, and tracking activities for projects -Prepare, submit, and maintain operating budget for responsible areas per AOP

**[Requirements: [-Bachelors degree in Engineering -10+ years of relevant engineering experience -5+ years of people management experience -Experience leading and developing engineering teams for multiple products, product functions, and product improvement/optimization effort -Clear understanding of requirement capture,softwaredevelopment, validation, andqualityprocesses -Ability to deal with peers and managers at all levels and functions within the company -Strong capacity for leading change, dealing with ambiguity, and providing creative solutions and influencing multi-discipline teams with data, scientific reasoning, and strong coaching skills -Strong experience in project management and differentsoftwareprocess methodologies -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Highly motivated and passionate about embedded systems
