Job Description:
Seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to serve on a casual, as needed basis in our family practice at our West Acres Clinic in Fargo, North Dakota. This RN or LPN works PRN, picking up shifts to support our nursing staff. Clinic hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. No weekends or holiday rotations are required. RN ($33.21 hourly, or more with experience): Is a professional practicing in a multi-faceted domain of specialty nursing that focuses on health care of individuals, families, groups, communities and entire populations. Provides care that occurs in primary and specialty care outpatient facilities, non-acute community out -patient settings; during tele health nursing encounters that occur in medical offices or by individual nurses in the home or business. Have authority, accountability and responsibility for nursing practice; makes decisions; and takes action consistent with the obligation to promote health and to provide optimal care recognizing that health is a universal right. Interacts with patients in concert with other health professionals, skillfully uses the nursing process to assess primary concerns, identify problems, analyze and integrate subjective and objective data, decide on a plan of action, apply the appropriate intervention and evaluate the outcome. LPN ($19.55, or more with experience): Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory and/or home care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Current license with the ND State Board of Nursing upon hire.
Nursing license with the state of MN within 3 months of hire.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 3 months from date of hire.

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
