JOB SUMMARY

Cass Clay Creamery has immediate job openings for dependable, hardworking, mechanically incline Overnight Maintenance Technicians.

$6,000 sign-on bonus!

*$1,000-after 90 days, $2,000-after 6 months & $3,000-after 1 year

Pay - Up to $30 or more DOE per hour **Maintenance Wages are based on years of service and oncoming skills - make sure your resume is clean, up-to-date and accurate

Current Opening:

Overnight Shift *Rotating evening/overnight shifts - must be able to work nights, overnights, holidays, weekends and overtime as needed

The maintenance employee is responsible for:

  • Performing preventative maintenance on all equipment, building maintenance, trouble shooting and repairing the processing and packaging equipment

  • Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, pneumatic, refrigeration and hydraulic system

  • Understanding and maintaining written records, following written directions (manuals) and verbal directions

  • Maintaining a clean work area

  • Completing other assigned duties.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks

  • Minimum one year experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility, preferably food and beverage industry

  • Minimum one year experience with one or more technical experiences: Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC and/or HVAC

  • Minimum one year experience with a variety of equipment including lubricating, cleaning, material handling, motor control, relay control, process control and packaging equipment

  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

  • Must be able to handle basic hand tools

  • Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend required for virtually the entire shift; occasionally required to climb or balance

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

  • Must be able to work in a cold, wet environment with moderate to high noise volume

  • May experience some exposure to fumes airborne particles, chemicals or allergens

  • Subset license or certifications may be required

  • 2–3 years field related experience

  • Three years of experience required in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility

Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holiday
