Job Summary

Provides technical support to the orthotic staff and fabricates, repairs and maintains orthoses. This includes assessment of orthotic technical requirements, formulation and implementation of fabrication, as well as follow-up and practice management. Proficient with current fabricating techniques, familiar with material properties and skilled in the use of appropriate equipment. Supports and conforms to professional responsibilities that promote and assure the overall welfare of the client. Attends training to gain knowledge and skills used in the Orthotic Technician role.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience preferred.

Possession of a valid Class D driver’s license and maintaining a good driving record is preferred.
