Spherion Staffing Fargo Monument Production Technician in Fargo, North Dakota

[Spherion Staffing is interviewing candidates for a local company. The Production Technician is responsible for the layout activities required on memorials as well as for various tasks associated with maintaining the shop. Candidates should have at least one year of recent related industry operations and/or production experience.

[Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, potential of 5 OT hours per week [Pay $18.50-20/hour DOE

[Responsibilities: -Proof memorials and stencils prior to sandblasting -Attach stencil to proper stones, does preliminary stencil cutting and layout detailing. Also, re-sets stencil to stones once first sanding is performed -Maintain output to coincide with installation calendar. Daily evaluation of production to assure products completed on time -Confer and consult with upper management and co-workers on regular basis to ensure layout-design is performed without mistakes -Work with design and production departments to maintain production schedule [-Perform other work-related duties as required

Requirements: -High School diploma or GED equivalent -Minimum of one year of recent related industry operations and/or production experience [-Working knowledge of general production processes and related quality requirements -Ability to plan, organize and perform production operations and programs -Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with others and to present ideas effectively, orally and in writing -Ability to accurately identify operational problems and/or opportunities and recommend effective solutions -Ability to work effectively in a participative, team-oriented environment -Possession of a valid drivers license
