This position is part of the DBS Department located in Fargo, ND and will be ON-SITE in Fargo, ND.

You will be a part of the Manufacturing organization and report to the VP of Manufacturing responsible for improving organizational performance by driving continuous improvement in Operations by using Danaher Business Systems (DBS) and working with DBS Leaders (DBSL's) to identify improvement opportunities and implement countermeasure to drive reduction in waste, cost and on time delivery. Partner with business leaders to provide guidance, support, and consolidate DBS activities across sites and focus on best practice sharing, DBS knowledge management and drive lean manufacturing processes.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead through influence and partner with functional leaders to identify, prioritize, and select improvement priorities needed to achieve performance objectives.

  • Leverage and continuously improve the Kaizen Funnel Process to prioritize, schedule, resource, plan, and drive 80%+ sustainment of Kaizen and PSP events.

  • Drive targeted, sustainable improvement in SQDCI (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Innovation) that is tied to Policy Deployment (PD) and Daily Management (DM) by leveraging DBS tools and skillfully facilitating workshops, trainings, and Kaizen events.

  • Work with the DBSO (Danaher Business System Office) to schedule events, align on new tools to advance DBS across Operations and collaborate with other DBS leaders to ensure alignment of cross-functional processes involving Operations.

  • Strategically drive long term DBS muscle development of all leaders and team members within the Operations functional teams and across Aldevron as needed.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree with preference for 5+ years of experience including using continuous improvement/lean tools.

  • Ability to build cross functional relationships and lead through influence to drive DBS and functional targets.

  • Strong background in DBS fundamentals with proven track record to drive change and deliver results.

  • Excellent communication skills to work with individuals across all levels of the organization and the ability to train others.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Hands-on experience leading deployment of DBS tools: VSM, SW, TPI, 5S, PSP, VM/DM, VPM, or DSS preferred.

  • Certified Practitioner (CP) in one or more Lean tools preferred.
