American Federal Bank Business Banking Analyst in Fargo, North Dakota

POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Banking Analyst position is primarily responsible for performing a wide range of roles related to support and servicing of business banking relationships. The position will assist the Ag/Business Banker in the ongoing management and administration of the commercial credit portfolio, including analyzing commercial credits and providing service and support to the commercial credit function under the guidance of an Ag/Business or Banker.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Assists Business Bankers in managing relationships with Business customers.

  • Assists in the underwriting of Business loans and administering them according to established bank policies and procedures.

  • Assists in analyzing financial information for new and existing business banking relationships including the preparation of credit modules and annual reviews.

  • Assists in establishing valuations and monitoring commercial collateral, including preparation of internal evaluations and site inspections for commercial real estate.

  • Assists in the preparation of loan presentations on Business loans for submission for loan approval under the guidance of a Business Banker.

  • Identifies sales opportunities and referrals to Sales Bankers and Registered Representatives.

  • Other responsibilities may include client question and problem solving, sales referrals, and support and service in the origination, processing and administration of consumer and business relationships, while maintaining compliance within established bank policies and procedures and applicable governmental regulatory laws, regulations and reporting requirements
