IMSolutions seeks aSr. Engineering Program Manager (EHS)to fill an exciting opportunity supporting the federal government.

The ideal candidate must be within the DMV area, as this role has not yet been established as onsite, hybrid, or fully remote.

As a Sr. Engineering Program Manager (EHS) , you will develop projects and use their skills and expertise to inspire a sense of shared purpose within the project team while driving occupational and environmental health analysis to explore and support physiologic and environmental monitoring programs within a Strategic Plan. Identifies gaps and solutions using best practice Program Management Office methodology to create a project plan to fit the stakeholder/customer needs and deliver within budget on desired outcomes.

These functions include:

  • Defining the project scope and objectives to ensure project members understand what is expected of them and what they should expect from one another. Prepares, maintains, and submits clear and concise activity/progress reports, time recording, and management reports.

  • Ability to articulate problems, bring the right people together to solve problems, and know when the problem has been adequately addressed and closed.

  • Apply a proactive approach in routinely tracking project members’ progress against their project commitments to discover potential problems before they occur.

  • Responsible for defining, teaching, and enforcing good project management practices.

  • Possess a broad and flexible toolkit of techniques for resolving complex, interdependent activities into tasks and sub-tasks that are documented, monitored, and controlled.

  • Improve teams' skills through lessons-learned reviews at project completion.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science.

  • Ten (10) years of operational experience in Federal Contracting.

  • A Project Management Professional certification (for example, PMP) is required.

  • Must be proficient in using the Microsoft suite of applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Adobe Acrobat.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Science.

Base compensation range and benefits:

$125,000 to $150,000 - Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and location.
