Work you'll do:

Flexible hours and work schedule. As an Economic & Political (Intelligence) Analytics Lead, you will support data-driven, analytical decisioning for our clients. You will work cross-functionally between teams to guide measurement frameworks, learning agendas, data strategy, and performance analytics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Client leadership

  • Perform Economy and Energy data entry via bulk ingest and manage the bulk data ingest standard operating procedure

  • Lead ad hoc team educational meetings on data fidelity best practices

  • Research new Economy and Energy fields and sources, documenting necessary changes in the dedicated sourcing workbook

  • Research Economy and Energy data notes to help explain complex macroeconomic or energy concepts (e.g., cryptocurrency) to then be reviewed by staff and publicly disseminated

  • Make any necessary revisions to the website Style Guide

  • Assist in quality assurance of data, as directed by Client leadership

  • Coordinate with the dedicated IT support on all technical needs related to the Website content management system

  • Support annual review efforts with various Government components

  • Respond to public inquiries on Economy and Energy fields and sources, including press, government partner, and general user website inquiries

  • Provide on-call support for senior executive and other one-page summary requests

  • Document and communicate Website traffic metrics on behalf of Office of Public Affairs leadership

  • Collaborate on the development of graphics, charts, and tables to improve the website's user interface and experience (UI/UX)

  • Lead Client efforts on researching, documenting, and piloting automation, AI/ML, and genAI use cases

  • Coordinate with various Agency components and partners to utilize open-source data for Economy and Energy data

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in the field of communications, creative writing, journalism, public relations, or something similar

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in either marketing, digital research, web content/digital publications, or design as it relates to graphical data

  • 1+ years of experience utilizing tools like Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.

  • 1+ years of experience utilizing Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat Reader

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Ability to work in Chantilly, VA

  • Ability to travel 10-20%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph required

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a client-facing position

  • Experience revamping an existing Style Guide

  • Strong interpersonal skills reflecting the confidence to work with officials at all levels

  • Knowledge of unclassified resources available to maintain and update dozens of specific fields of data

  • Familiarity with a variety of data aggregation, sorting, graphic creation, data storage and data manipulation tools

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
