Vectrus Security Admin Assistant - Top Secret Clearance in Fallon, Nevada

We have an opportunity for a Security Admin Assistant to support our customer at Naval Air Station Fallon, NV. You will work with senior military aviators and civilian instructors at one of the top facilities for weapons and tactics training. This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Due to the classified nature of this effort all work must be completed at the customer site.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining applicable Program directives, regulations, manuals, and guidelines

  • Properly accounting for, controlling, transmitting, transporting, packaging and safeguarding protected material and documents

  • Assisting in certifying and receiving visitor clearances and accesses

  • Maintaining the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) to reflect personnel under sites’ cognizance

  • Assisting management in the oversite of program personnel, information, and physical and technical security actions and procedures

  • Providing technical assistance with the processing of eligibility requests

  • Assisting with the management and adjudication of unauthorized disclosures of classified intelligence information

  • Assisting in the creation and routing of documentation/reports as they relate to security incidents that occur within the office

  • Providing assistance with annual self-assessments

Qualifications

  • Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of experience performing the duties listed above

  • Minimum of two years of experience in generating and tracking visit certification for individuals entering and leaving a secure facility

  • Skills:

  • Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills
