Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Description

Join a company with over 50 years of experience in delivering top-tier manufacturing services. We are looking for a Field Service Technician who embodies our core values of quality, integrity, and community. In this role, you will travel across the U.S. and Canada, repairing and adding electrical and assembly components to generator enclosures. You will interact directly with customers, estimate repair costs, and document your work. This position requires significant travel, including potential international trips, and flexibility in hours, with potential 12-14 hour days.

Hard Skills

  • Mechanical and electrical repair

  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and electronic testing devices

  • Experience with forklifts, cranes, and other lifting apparatus

  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Problem-solving abilities

  • Customer-first service approach

  • Ability to develop work instructions from general descriptions

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Fall River, Wisconsin and some days remote.

Work Environment

This role involves extensive travel, including 3 weeks on the road followed by 1 week back at the shop. Candidates should be open to both domestic and potential international travel, and comfortable working long days on active customer sites. You will use iPads on-site to aid in your tasks.
