Your Impact

Here's where you'll demonstrate your proficiencies:

Pickup material from cells & manufacturing locations throughout the plant and process for shipment. Package material and attach packing slip / address labels to cartons. Prepare skids and cartons for shipment. Schedule pickups with freight forwarder and trucking companies. Prepare required domestic/export paperwork or other documents required for shipment. Create and match bill of lading to appropriate shipments. Expedites parts for cells and kit material to required KanBan. Load and unload materials including: indirect materials, outgoing parcels and skids, scrap and recyclables to/from common carriers at loading dock. Match paperwork with cartons of incoming and outgoing material to verify appropriate contents. Collect and process scrap. Conducts physical inventory of parts and maintains storage areas in a neat and orderly fashion. Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Must have proficient English reading and writing skills and be able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions. High School Diploma/GED is preferred.

Ability to prioritize work, self-starter, organized.

Proficient with Microsoft windows-based computer programs. Operate material handling equipment: manual and powered pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklift, balers and scales. Ability to problem solve and conduct root cause analysis. Possesses knowledge of both carrier supplied and internet based shipping software UPS Worldship, Fed-Ex Internet Shipping is preferred. Physical Demands:

Regularly exerting up to 20 lbs of force and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Bending body downward and forward at the waist. Standing for sustained periods of time. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks.
