Job Title: Japanese bilingual Accounting Assistant Manager Location: Fairfield, OH (on-site) Work hour: 8:00am - 5:00pm FLSA: Exempt, Full-Time, Direct Hire A global manufacturing company is seeking a Japanese Bilingual Accounting Assistant Manager. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and monthly reporting. The role involves supporting budgeting, forecasting, and shaping accounting policies, requiring proficiency in Japanese for communication with the Japan headquarters. Responsibilities: Maintaining accurate financial records across various accounts. Expertise in financial software and Excel for data management. Handling accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and monthly reporting. Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and implementing accounting policies. Directing report compilation on cash, AP, AR, and business operations. Verifying and managing transactions, including check issuance and wire transfers. Collaborating with the accounting team to produce essential financial reports. Reviewing financial data quarterly and annually, identifying irregularities and solutions. Managing client accounts, vendor inquiries, and extended payment negotiations. Adhering to federal, state, and company policies and regulations. Qualifications: Bilingual in Japanese - business level speaking/reading/writing required. Bachelor's degree in accounting or business field required. At least 3 years of accounting/finance experience. Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). CPA is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
