Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries, founded in 1916, is one of the largest providers of rehabilitation services in the State of Ohio.  Utilizing our retail store network, we generate sales revenue to support thousands of individuals with disabilities and homeless local veterans.

We are looking people-oriented individuals responsible for managing a retail store maximizing sales and minimizing loss.  

Responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to retail sales to include supervising employees and handling management responsibilities when the store manager is not present. High School or equivalency required. Retail management experience preferred. Supervisory experience required. Must be able to understand and effectively communicate the English language. Must have good math skills and interpersonal skills. Must have good problem solving and decision-making skills. Must be able to manage and organize heavy workload.

Responsible for selling as much merchandise as possible, tracking store sales, enforcing company policies/procedures, supervising employees, interviewing/hiring/ training employees, operating cash register/cash handling/reconciling, opening/closing store, time keeping, and assisting customers among other responsibilities.  Able to lift up to 25 lbs., standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing a ladder.

This position requires a rotating flexible schedule based on the needs of the business to include days, evenings, and weekends. Must have open availability. Able to work weekends.
