Zantech is looking for an Oracle Systems Engineer to lead all the support for the multiple Oracle databases for this upcoming Army program.

Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

  • This person will ensure that the team updates and maintains software and security patches for both COTS and in house software, all operating systems and hardware for both on-prem and cloud environments.

  • Ensure operational availability of SQL database services is integrated with the least possible downtime, some of these databases with sensitive information are encrypted.

  • Ensure all planning, change management and testing are completed with supporting documentation, team/client communication and with minimal downtime.

  • Metrics are updated, maintained and provided.

Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:

  • 10+ years' experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related scientific or technical discipline

  • IAT II Certification - CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP

  • Advanced Oracle 11G and newer Administration

  • Configuration and Tuning, Advanced Red Hat Enterprise tuning for Oracle 11G and above

  • Advanced Oracle Middleware Administration and Configuration

  • Advanced DISA Gold

  • Army Gold Master configurations on Oracle 11G and newer

  • Intermediate App Detective Oracle scanning and remediating according to Industry best practices

  • Oracle 12.1 deployments and system administration

  • Data Guard administration

  • Custom scripting for the organization

Required Security Clearance:

  • Active SECRET or higher clearance based on contract requirements
