**MUST HAVE SOME ELECTRICAL BACKGROUND AND PREVIOUS PRODUCTION MACHINE MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Updates and monitors a preventative maintenance program.
  • Helps relieve and cover maintenance department vacations to minimize overtime.
  • Coordinates the day-to-day preventative maintenance requirements and must have proficiency in all maintenance.
  • Through a parts clerk, establishes parts ordering requirements to ensure that adequate supplies of appropriate spare parts are kept in stock.
  • Assists in troubleshooting as needed on plant equipment.
  • Performs needed repairs when required. Researches, suggests, and implements system
  • Ability to identify and describe each component of the HTST system.
  • Demonstrate basic ARC and TIG welding skills.
  • Demonstrate proficient use of Volt/Ohm meter.
  • Ability to identify chains, sprockets and bearings.
  • Demonstrate cute and glue PVC pipe and identify pipe fittings.
  • Demonstrate testing for a bad motor using continuity and megohmmeter tests.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic motor control circuits.
  • Ability to identify motor and gearbox nameplate and what that information means.
  • Demonstrate cut and thread metal pipe and identify pipe fittings.
  • Ability to size and troubleshoot VFDs
  • Identify inputs and outputs of PLCs
  • Understand basic schematics and ladder logic
  • Troubleshoot and repair analog control circuits
  • Properly bend pipe and conduit
  • Identify components and process of CIP system.
  • Proficient in Blow mold operations.
