MAG AH 64E Senior Aviation Maintenance Advisor (SAMA) (15Z/15R) (Morocco) in FAIRFAX, Virginia

Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is currently bidding on a Security Assistance Training Management Organization (SATMO) program and contingently hiring for an AH 64E Senior Aviation Maintenance Advisor (SAMA) (15Z/15R) who will reinforce the Royal Moroccan Air Force (RMAF) defense / threat capabilities concerning their usage of AH-64Ev6 Apache Attack Helicopters.

Most operations will take place at RMAF Attack Battalion in Khourigba, Morocco.

This is a full-time position with full benefits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Conduct aviation management and coordination of maintenance efforts within the AH-64E company and will focus on the skills of a U.S. Army 15R/15Z AH-64E Attack Helicopter Repairer.

  • Train RMAF maintenance personnel in the management of the maintenance flow chart, aircraft bank hour tracker, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, parts ordering and production control and quality control operations and may be designated to perform Technical Inspector

  • Train RMAF maintenance personnel on Aircrew Life Support Equipment (ALSE) and assist with establishing/maintaining a program to provide routine and historical maintenance documents for all Aerospace Ground Equipment / Aviation Ground Servicing Equipment (AGE/AGSE).

  • Assist in monitoring, collecting, and submitting lubricant samples IAW the US Army’s oil analysis program.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Served in US Military

  • 10 years’ experience supervising helicopter maintenance.

  • 7 years’ experience performing or supervising AH-64D or AH-64E maintenance using the skills of a 15R or 15Z

  • 5 years’ of experience as a AH-64D or AH-64E Technical Inspector or Quality Control Officer

  • Have some experience as a AH-64 Production Control or Quality Control Officer.

Certifications / Ratings:

  • Qualified as a school trained U.S. Army AH-64E Aircraft Repairer (MOS 15R)

Security Clearance:

  • Able to obtain a secret clearance in the future if needed

Other Qualifications:

  • US. Citizen

  • Must possess or be capable of obtaining a U.S. Passport.

  • Must possess or be capable of obtaining a Moroccan Visa.

  • Must provide proof of the following:

  • Military Service, (DD Form 214)

  • Position related certifications
