All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. Position Overview Riverside Research is seeking a full-time System Administrator to support our Commercial Innovation Center (CIC). The CIC is a research and development hybrid cloud environment designed to bring commercial data providers together with government, academic, and other commercial research and development teams for the purpose of increasing innovation, collaboration, and adoption across the rapidly growing remote sensing market. As a System Administrator in the CIC, you will use your experience to administer both local and cloud-based hosts on Linux and Windows. You will support deployment and maintenance of physical, virtual, and cloud-based server and server-less capabilities with the CIC. You'll ensure maintenance, operations, and continuious improvement of the CIC computing environment. Responsibilities * Provide system administration for systems, applications and data availability within the CIC cloud computing environment * Deploy cloud-based server and server-less capabilities * Support continuous integration/continuous testing/continuous delivery (CI/CT/CD) software development processes; manage overall operations of software applications and systems running within the CIC * Implement authorization, authentication and security audit logging tools to control access and meet security requirements * Report system maintenance status/resolve issues as required * Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required: * Bachelors degree from an accredited university and 5 years of relevant experience. * Experience with systems administration in an enterprise environment. * Previous experience with Active Directory Administration including user and group access control, or similar LDAP based authentication environment. * Experience with Active Directory Group Policy development and deployment. * Experience in systems configuration management maintain OS baselines, ensuring consistent system deployments to meet specified standards, and OS patching and deployment. * Additional Experience in scripting systems functions for process automation/optimization. * Ability to work independently or as part of a group as needed to achieve desired outcomes. * Strong written and verbal communication ensuring customer goals are met satisfactorily. * Ability to operate in ever changing, fast paced, environment, often working multiple projects at one time. Desired: * Master's degree in technology related field * Cloud administration familiarity (AWS/Azure) * Advanced AD/LDAP administration including ADFS SAML configuration and complex Group Policy environments. * Experience working with ISSO/ISSM to establish security baselines and policies, ensure their deployment, and adherence. * COMPTIA Security+ Certification * Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Adjudication Global Comp $95,00 - $140,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
