As a Grinder Operator, you will be responsible for following the router, blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine the sequence of operations. In addition, you will prepare the machine for production by positioning parts on the table with block-ins or angle blocks and setting and adjusting the controls to regulate the machining process. Your duties will also include observing the operations, detecting defects, inspecting parts, and adjusting controls to maintain specifications. To qualify for this position, you should have previous grinding experience, preferably some experience with quartz, and ability to lift up to 50lbs.
