Confidential Entry Control Specialist in Fairborn, Ohio

The Entry Control Specialist will physically staff the entry post at assigned locations, conducting security checks and controlling access to designated areas. Maintain a security visitor log, prepare files and reports, ensure security equipment is working properly and keep the entry post in a clean and presentable manner, and update and maintain forms, databases, records, and internal website links. The Specialist will implement physical security measures to open/close/secure Government facility, assist with measures necessary for maintenance and testing of facility alarms and facility accreditation. The candidate will receive, transmit and file visit requests for assigned personnel and visitors, verify security clearance and program access to issue and account for visitor and permanent personnel badges, sign-in and maintain visitor access utilizing secure electronic capabilities, create and post end-of-day security checklists for all secure facilities, destroy unneeded classified material using approved procedures, and prepare and present courier briefing, issue courier identification, and support the Secure Communications Center personnel.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate degree or 6+ years of experience in closely related skills
  • TS clearance
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
