Position Summary:The Office of Admissions is looking for Student Ambassadors! Student Ambassadors carry out a diverse range of activities to assist recruitment efforts at UAF. Student ambassadors serve as aspirational peers and as catalysts for engagement with the university.   • Demonstrated leadership potential and/or previous leadership experience.

  • Ability to communicate (written/verbal) effectively with all types of people.

  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team to multitask and prioritize varied tasks.

  • Knowledge of basic computer software.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • A commitment of one full semester (one full academic year preferred).

Preference will be given to applicants with in-depth knowledge of: UAF, general knowledge of the admissions process, well-rounded knowledge of the academic, social, and extracurricular opportunities at UAF, involvement in student organizations.


Completed at least one semester at UAF already


1) Be enrolled in at least 6 UA credits.

2) have at least a 2.0 GPA.

3) completed at least one semester at UAF already

This is a Student Assistant C; minimum starting pay is $12.00 per hour.
