TDL STAFFING, INC Clinical Office Manager (Fairbanks) in Fairbanks, Alaska

Immediately seeking an Office Manager to oversee the administration of a busy behavior health/counseling practice and provide basic clinical functions.

Candidates must have familiarity with the workings of a mental health/counseling practice or medical practice and must also have the ability to perform basic skills such as blood pressure, heights, and weights.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage communications between staff, providers, clients, vendors, and associated business entities.
  • Oversee front office staff and workflow and administrative duties.
  • Ensure payroll information is collected, verified, and provided for processing.
  • In conjunction with the CFO, oversee budget compliance for the practice.
  • For each new client obtain authorization from appropriate payment sources.
  • Schedule appointments and initiate the appropriate paperwork.
  • Provide orientation to employees that are new to the Practice.
  • Perform basic skills such as blood pressure, height, weights.
  • Under the supervision and approval of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), call in clients prescriptions.
  • Under the supervision of PMHNP and in accordance with the qualifications of the clinician, oversee the organization of medications maintained within the facility.
  • Other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time salaried position Monday - Friday No weekends with pay starting at $61k-$66k depending on experience.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with the workings of a Behavioral/Counselling Practice or a medical practice.
  • Clinical professional or technical education or on the job training e.g., Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, LPN, RN
  • Ability to function as an office manager or actual experience as an office manager.
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Background will be viewed.
