TDL STAFFING, INC Cafeteria Cook (Fairbanks) in Fairbanks, Alaska

Cafeteria Cook Full time Hours 8am-430pm Tuesday-Saturday Pay starting at $18.24-$19.35.

Immediately hiring a Cook to prepare and deliver food services for a youth treatment center. Experience working in a cafeteria setting is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare food for the clients.
  • Monitor inventory of food and grocery items
  • Coordinate menu planning and content with the Food Services Manager.
  • Maintain budgetary constraints.
  • Accommodate special diets; use diet manual, document on menu and notify Food Service Director.
  • Will provide Food Services Manager with the necessary information to compile accurate food production records of all meals. This will include information related to portion size and variation of recipes/menus.
  • Maintain high level of Joint Commission standards and documenting records of food temperatures before start of service and cooler temperatures. Maintain and monitor all food by labeling and dating with the appropriate measures.
  • Coordinate with the Food Services Manager for purchase of food and supplies.
  • Provide necessary receipts to the Food Services Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Business degree OR equivalent experience in food service field preferred
  • Current food handlers card or ability to get one.
  • Safe Serv certificate not required at time of hire but preferred
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Background will be viewed.
