Bentley Systems Resident Consultant Engineer in Exton, Pennsylvania

Resident Consultant Engineer

Bentley Systems is seeking a talented individual to become a valued member of our successful User Success Services team as a Resident Consultant Engineer . This position plays an important role in delivering consulting, training, support, and configuration services specifically for a single account on Bentley’s Civil Engineering Design Applications and CAD Software.

Location: United States, Remote

A qualified candidate may work virtually from a home office but must be available during normal business hours. A qualified candidate will provide services to a single Bentley account.

Responsibilities

  • Training, configuration, installation, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance and support of Bentley Engineering Design applications and CAD software (OpenRoads, OpenBridge, OpenRail, iTwin Design Review, MicroStation)

  • Provide transition between versions of Bentley Engineering Design applications.

  • Drive Jacobs technical advancement in digital project delivery across the Bentley Civil product and collaboration suites (OpenXX, iTwin, ProjectWise, SYNCHRO)

  • Liaison between software users and Bentley support

  • Provides technical assistance with the implementation, installation, operation, maintenance, and configuration of Bentley products.

  • Work effectively with the account’s technical employees and Bentley’s Design Engineering team to understand requirements, scope, develop, and formalize training workflows.

  • Work independently to create learning materials and document standard work processes.

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement a training plan.

  • Configure Bentley applications to the account’s standards and workflows.

  • No travel is required in this role.

  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements (https://www.bls.gov/ors/factsheet/visual-overview-of-physical-demands.htm) ).

Required Skills

  • Experience and comprehensive understanding of infrastructure projects and associated workflows.

  • Specific experience with drainage and site design concepts using Bentley Civil products.

  • Possess 5 years knowledge of the following Bentley products: OpenRoads, ProjectWise, MicroStation

  • Working knowledge and experience with iTwin, OpenBridge OpenRail, Reality Data Capture is preferred.

  • The candidate should also be familiar with and have experience running and configuring Bentley software.

  • Strong command of the English language with clear speaking skills for recording videos and teaching live training classes

  • Experience developing training materials and/or recording training videos.
