Job Overview

The Project Manager Network Design supports the value stream mapping process to disclose opportunities and risks by establishing more efficient and profitable supply chain value streams within EMEA by considering customer footprints.

Responsibilities:

  • Starts and helps with planning, preparing, and organizing various logistics projects to improve the efficiency of value streams

  • Support the study and mapping of basic connections in value streams, involving how information is moved and legal structures.

  • Follow up on schedules and timelines and report out the project status to the supervisor

  • Definition of milestones and creation of network plans in cooperation with the respective functional leads

  • Consistent tracking + monitoring of project progress and milestones (performance & deadlines) to identify potential gaps and to define alternate solutions, if required

  • Ensure documentation & regular presentation of interim results and the general project progress

  • Help to define/propose the most efficient combination of manufacturing sites/warehouse locations and second sources of customer footprints and along with that, to drive solutions for optimized value stream setups and to lead execution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field

  • 2 years experience in Supply Chain Management or similar

  • Experience in the automotive sector is considered beneficial

  • Experienced in dealing with partners and cultures around the globe

  • Analytical thinking beneficial

  • Good communication skills and the desire to build lasting relationships with people within EMEA

  • Good level of English
