SUMMARY:

The VIP Interior Installation Technician works under general supervision to safely perform aircraft removals, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors (which may include galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, and panels).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Manufacturing and fabricating monuments from raw materials on VIP aircraft including wood, honeycomb, fiberglass, sheet metal and veneers.

  • Fabricates, fits trim, and installs interior components, galleys, bulk heads, doors, side ledges, game, and conference tables.

  • Performs troubleshooting and repairs to inspect incoming cabinetry and interior, removals, inventory, interior, protection, and proper interior nomenclature for part identification.

  • Tests functional performance of installed items

  • Performs other duties as required.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma/GED

  • Two (2) years of applicable installation, fabrication, or related experience.

  • Experience in aerospace industry preferred.

    PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY:

  • The employee will be required to sit, use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close.

  • The employee will also be required to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, kneel, and sit. Required to climb ladders/stairs, and work in small areas.

  • The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

    Compensation- Base Salary: $22.00 - $33.00 per hour.
