We are seeking a visionary individual with a strong architectural background to drive innovation and accelerate software, gateware (FPGA), and embedded firmware development while enhancing security and quality. This leadership role requires the ability to uplift the team's DevSecOps competency by embracing industry best practices and fostering collaboration with Keysight's central DevSecOps organization. We are in search of a talented Sr DevOps Engineer with expertise in software or embedded firmware development, with a bonus if you have experience in FPGA-based systems. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing DevOps processes and infrastructure to streamline the development, testing, and deployment of software, gateware (FPGA), and embedded firmware. Key Responsibilities: Architect, design, and implement DevOps processes and infrastructure for software, FPGA, and embedded firmware projects. Lead the team in developing and maintaining Jenkins shared pipeline libraries, engaging in direct coding in python and groovy, along with planning and coaching, with the potential to contribute to central pipeline libraries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware developers, and software engineers, to seamlessly integrate FPGA and embedded firmware components into larger systems. Develop and maintain tools and scripts for continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and automated testing of FPGA designs and embedded firmware. Drive innovation in DevSecOps processes and infrastructure to accelerate and enhance complex on-premises builds and downstream consumption, catering to various software flows, including specialized cases such as embedded Linux and FPGA development. Provide guidance to development teams on DevSecOps best practices, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Stay abreast of industry and internal DevSecOps best practices and advocate for their adoption across the organization. Oversee the DevSecOps infrastructure managed by the HSDK organization. Lead the team in adopting containerized build environments, including the creation and management of Windows and Linux container images. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Experience in software or embedded firmware development. Proficiency in Linux and Windows administration. Expertise in creating package management solutions using chocolatey, rpm, deb, etc. In-depth understanding of Jenkins pipelines and experience in crafting automated build, test, and deployment workflows. Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Strong programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, Groovy, C#, and C++.
