Adecco US, Inc. Production Team Lead in Everett, Washington

Adecco is assisting local client recruit a 2 nd shift Team Lead in their production department in Everett, WA.

This is a temporary to hire position. Candidates must show a progression or job responsibility or job title on their resume to be considered. As a team lead, you will work with production operators to monitor their work to assure all employees are meeting production goals and producing quality items. Work as part of a team with other leads and perform assembly work as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily direction and scheduling for Assemblers

  • Electrical assembly

  • Works on assembly problems of unusual complexity under minimal supervision.

  • Recommend practices and procedures.

  • Confer with supervisor only on unusual or complex problems.

  • Participate in determining objectives of assignment. Most work is not verified by others, and errors may create substantial loss of funds, accounts, cause delays, or affect Company image. Independent contacts with internal customers requiring discussion, interpretation, and approvals.

  • Proficiency in complex assembly and injection molding product lines, processes, and procedures.

  • Determines method of assembly where complete information is not available. Assists in development, and analyzes or critiques assembly methods, processes and procedures

  • Proficient in highly complex processes which are non-routine, non-repetitive, multiple process with limited documentation, difficult rework, etc., of a particular line or product.

  • Collect, analyze, and report data from production processes.

  • Provide training to lesser experienced personnel.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Technical Associate’s degree or 2 years of equivalent work experience

  • Required minimum of 1-2 years related experience working with injection molding and wire cutting equipment in troubleshooting and repair, with demonstrated levels of increased productivity, competence, and efficiency.

  • Outstanding electronic technical abilities and thorough knowledge of injection molding and soldering.

  • A wide and comprehensive understanding of assembly practices, processes, techniques, policies and procedures, and their interface with other departments and systems.

  • Ability to operate all related shop/test equipment including certification where appropriate, demonstrated related computer proficiency where applicable, and possession of good oral communication skills.

  • Ability to perform independent project work requiring analytical, planning, and organizational skills.

  • Previous Team Lead experience a plus, preferably in a high volume/high product mix environment

Working Conditions and Basic Requirements:

  • Must be able to match up colors and be able to assemble small pieces, required due to frequent close work.

  • May involve exposure to chemicals, solvents and solder smoke.

  • Requires working within standard time constraints. Position may require movement of objects (up to 40 lbs.).

  • All external hiring is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check.

Pay/Hours

  • Hourly Position – Pay Range $22 to 27/hour plus 8% shift Deferential

  • Required to work Monday through Thursday 3:30 to 2:00am. OT is available as needed.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour
