Provider Solutions & Development Physician Assistant Surgery General in Everett, Washington
Providence Medical Group General Surgery in Everett is looking for a surgical Physician Assistant to join its general surgery team. The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic team player who is comfortable working with multiple physicians in an inpatient and outpatient setting. Being flexible to change, having a willingness to learn and excellent interpersonal, communication and critical thinking skills are also highly desired. Patient management will includes: colorectal surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, gallbladder surgery, hernia surgery, minimally invasive/laparoscopic and robotic surgery, breast surgery, anorectal diseases, soft tissue lesions, and more
Perform patient histories and physicals exam in the office and hospital setting: new patients, follow ups, pre/post ops, consults
Handle daily patient rounds, inpatient/outpatient education, daily documentation, and discharge summaries
Order and interpret appropriate medications and diagnostic tests such as routine laboratory, x-rays, ultrasound, ct scans, etc
Monitor and manages patient’s course of treatment and make/coordinate appropriate referrals as needed
Perform in office procedures that include minor procedures (soft tissue excision, I&D’s), anorectal exams, manometry, and more
Monday through Friday

Surgical PA-c required with min 1 year surgical assist experience, robotic trained preferred
Compensation is between $127,018 and $162,448 per year
The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them
