Description We are in the search for a dedicated Leave Administrator to join our team located in EVERETT, Washington. The primary function of this role is in the Human Resources industry, where you will be managing all aspects of employee leave. This includes but is not limited to Leave of Absence (LOA), Paid Family Medical Leave (PFML), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Administer various types of employee leave, including LOA, PFML, FMLA, and OSHA-related leave, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations

• Evaluate employee leave requests to determine eligibility based on company policies and legal requirements

• Effectively manage leave timelines, including tracking leave durations, providing timely responses to leave requests, and ensuring appropriate communication with employees and managers regarding leave status

• Maintain accurate and organized leave documentation, including leave requests, medical certifications, and correspondence with employees and healthcare providers

• Communicate with employees and managers in a clear and detail oriented manner regarding leave eligibility, status updates, and required documentation

• Stay updated on federal, state, and local leave laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all leave-related processes and decisions

• Be prepared to undergo training on Paycom leave management system and effectively utilize the platform for leave administration tasks

• Handle leave cases across multiple states, understanding and applying relevant state-specific leave laws and regulations

• Act as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave-related inquiries, providing accurate information and guidance

• Use skills such as ADP Workforce Now, HRMS, Benefit Functions, Compensation Administration, Compliance, Employee Relations, Leave Administration, Leave Programs, Leave Requests, Family Medical Leave, Paycom to effectively perform duties. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and Paycom software

• Experience with HRMS (Human Resource Management Systems)

• Knowledge of benefit functions, compensation administration, and compliance

• Strong skills in employee relations and leave administration

• Familiarity with leave programs and leave requests procedures

• Understanding of Family Medical Leave obligations and requirements

• Ability to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and laws

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Proven experience in a similar role within Human Resources is preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is advantageous

• HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
