Description The Hospice Nurse serves as a member of the interdisciplinary hospice team, assessing, planning, and providing nursing care to terminally ill patients. In doing so, the nurse addresses, in a holistic way, the needs of terminally ill patients and their families. The nurse strives to anticipate changes in patients' conditions, avoid crises, promote patient and family choice, assure continuity of care, and enhances the quality of life of dying patients. Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of Nursing experience. About the Team Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
