Job Description Overview CORT Party Rental is hiring immediately for Electrical Technicians! Our Electrical Technicians are responsible for installation and breakdown of portable power systems at various venues such as hotels, wineries and wedding venues. This is not an office/desk position; 80% of the role is spent in the field and 20% within our warehouse. Pay: 20 - 25 / hour depending on experience. $2,500 retention bonus available! Supports management in the accurate preparation of quotes and contracts with detailed installation and removal instructions, and inventory required. Creates site maps and diagrams for installations. Assists in all warehouse activities related to the Electrical Division. This includes manufacturing and repair of inventory, fulfilling customer orders, loading and unloading equipment, and maintaining an efficient and effective warehousing process. Execute upon customer contracts, be the on-site point of contact for the customer, and work with clients to ensure orders are accurate, handling revisions and additions in a timely manner. Communicates what resources are required for assigned contracts (team, vehicle, inventory, equipment needed) and specific operational details relating to the electrical division to ensure successful execution of contracts. Acts as point of technical support and quality assurance of field personnel when required. Conducts post show/event meetings with supervisors, completing all necessary field reports. Supports the Project side of the Party Rental division as needed, this includes setting and removing tents and related project equipment. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Event industry experience preferred Experience working with portable power distribution preferred, but not required. We can train all knowledge related to portable power systems. A valid state driver's license and safe driving record Physically able and willing to move equipment; ability to lift 75+ pounds Must be at least 21 years ofage Per FMSCA Regulations: Drivers must read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
