Basic Responsibilities

Successfully provide technical, engineering, and project management services related to the design, maintenance, operations, improvements of and additions to the District's facilities. Plans, organizes, and conducts work requiring knowledge of 480V electrical systems for industrial/commercial facilities, building management systems, building commissioning, UPS design and data center experience. Performs as project leader on medium to large projects and assignments.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Engineer III: $124,779 - $155,975 Annually

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering related field, AND
  • Four (4) years of related engineering experience;

OR

  • Eight (8) years of directly related engineering experience and a Washington State Professional Engineering License (PE) in-lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.

     

Professional Engineer: $156,523 -- $195,655 Annually

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering related field, AND
  • Six (6) years of related engineering experience;

OR

  • Ten (10) years of directly related engineering experience.

     

Principal Engineer: $175,3066 -- $219,134 Annually

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering related field, AND
  • Eight (8) years of related engineering experience;

OR

  • Twelve (12) years of directly related engineering experience.

     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
