Job Description Overview Are you a local truck driver looking to gain experience? Are you tired of the odd driving hours and want to be home with your family every night? If you answered yes to either of those questions this position might be for you! Join the CORT Party Rental team! We are hiring immediately for a fulltime CDL, Class A driver. The Delivery Driver works collaboratively as part of the Operations team and has a direct impact on the overall success of CORT. You will be responsible for loading, delivering, and installing everything from flooring to tenting. Help us turn events into memorable celebrations! Learn more about us @cortpartyrental Pay is between $30-$32 / hour, depending on experience. $2,500 Retention Bonus Available! Schedule will vary from 40-60 hours/week with overtime and double-time pay opportunities. Flexibility to work weekends and some nights is required. Responsibilities * Drive 48-53 foot flatbed/box trailer, 26-foot box truck with lift gate, or sprinter van from our warehouse to event venues. * Unload and install equipment at venues according to floorplans or instructions. * Interact face to face with our clients and provide a positive customer experience. * Repair, clean, or replace damaged equipment onsite as needed. * Participate in pre-delivery meetings to ensure a successful event delivery. * Assist with loading/unloading equipment in the warehouse pre or post event as needed Qualifications * A valid Class A driver's license and safe driving record. * Ability to speak, read, and write English * At least one year of professional experience driving a 48-53 foot flatbed/box trailer. * Physically able and willing to move equipment; ability to lift 50+ pounds. * Must be at least 21 years of age.
