Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Associate Procurement Agents (Level 2) based out of Everett, Washington.

The position will include responsibility for supporting implementation of sourcing strategies, leading work transfers between suppliers, delivery performance for structures suppliers, and may require the preparation and execution of proprietary information agreements and teaming agreements. It will also require the communication of performance expectations and use of metrics to evaluate, monitor, and improve supplier performance for all programs across Puget Sound and Charleston facilities. Some domestic and/or international travel may be required for this position.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Act as Liaison between Supplier and Boeing

  • Lead suppliers to the negotiated contractual documents.

  • Lead supplier readiness for entry into service and published production rates.

  • Review procurement/planning schedules to verify accuracy.

  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers, customers, internal partners, and peers, including the ability to gain rapport and engage with internal and external collaborators.

  • Communicate supplier performance expectations and apply systems and metrics to evaluate and monitor demand schedules and supplier quality and delivery performance.

  • Analyze and track supplier Key Performance Indicators to provide input on risks and assist suppliers to develop new indicators as needed.

  • Conduct risk, issues, and opportunities management.

  • Provide oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, and supplier quality and delivery.

  • Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance and quality issues.

  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions regarding resolution of quality issues, technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Mitigate risk issues, initiate and implement supplier recovery plans and improvement activities.

  • Assist in supplier improvement activities.

  • Lead quality/rework and work with supplier to conduct thorough RCCA’s and implement significant action plans.

  • Integrate with Production, Quality, Global Field Operations, Engineering, In-service teams, and other key partners to communicate and resolve issues impacting Boeing Production or Fleet Customers.

  • Perform some level of system transactions, data entry, develop executive level communication summaries/presentations and present them.

This position is expected to be hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform work 4 days onsite in Everett, WA and 1 day option to telecommute.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed (Less than 10% may be required)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in Supplier Management or Supply Chain Management

  • 1+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans

  • 1+ years of experience working in Procurement and/or Contract Administration roles

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 3 or more years' related work experience preferred, but not required. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $47,880 - $88,920
