Expected salary range, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Mid Level - $88,200 - $106,000

Sr Level - $115,200- $137,000

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of Power plant operations. Responsible for technical decisions. Possesses excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application and has detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide technical support to plant operations and maintenance

  • Provide system / component troubleshooting and root cause analysis investigation

  • Provide technical support in meeting environmental compliance

  • Provide technical support in meeting regulatory compliance

  • Define outage work scope and assemble engineering work packages as necessary

  • Works with central based Program and Reliability Engineers towards improving system and component reliability and cost effectiveness

  • Prepare capital project justification, installation oversight, and acceptance testing oversight

  • Interface with plant asset OEM's to optimize equipment material condition and incorporate recommendations

  • Prepare reports, procedures, proposals and all other duties as required/assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Mid-level E02 Engineer

  • E2 -B.S. in Engineering and 2+ years (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior E03 Engineer

  • B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer and 5+ years engineering experience

  • Knowledge of applicable discipline codes and standards

  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Front Line Supervisory experience

  • PE License

  • Master of Science

  • Process Historian (PI), Work Management System (Passport)

  • Knowledge of applicable discipline codes and standards (49 CFR 193, NFPA 59A)

  • 5+ years of combined experience in process engineering and field operations support in refinery or natural gas processing, large oil and gas production, chemical processing or LNG Facilities

  • The ability to use and interpret results of process simulation and other relevant technical tools

  • Knowledge of Distributed Control System architecture and user interface

  • Knowledge and experience with cryogenics

  • Liquified Natural Gas and Marine Terminal experience

- Work with and manage

  • Process Flow Diagrams (PFD)

  • Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)

  • Heat and Material Balance experience

  • Complex control loop description use

  • Process Hazard Analysis, Safety Integrity Levels

  • Ability to lead PHA initiatives

  • Steam generation, LNG vaporization, rotating equipment and heat exchange.

  • Mechanical Engineering specializing in process piping, cryogenics and rotating equipment.
