Job Description Summary

The Lead Facility Controls Engineer will provide the compete engineering and design of facilities control upgrade projects, as well as engineering and design of newly installed systems.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Capable of designing a web based fully integrated building automation system using Tridium Niagara 4 with a building graphical user interface that will be comprised of a network of interoperable, stand-alone digital controllers communicating on an open protocol communication network residing on/or through and Ethernet/Fiber System

  • Assist in creation of Control Standards

  • Develop System Sequences of Operations

  • Troubleshooting local controllers, communication wiring, programs, and schedules to identify concerns and determine corrective action with the aid of hourly employees

  • Continual Commissioning of Building Automation Systems

  • Development of Energy Saving Strategies

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university AND a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience

  • OR a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing experience

Desired Characteristics and Experience

  • Familiar with multiple control platforms

  • Ability to create custom programming code using multiple programming languages

  • Microsoft Visio Studios for Control Drawing Creations

  • Familiar with latest ASHRAE Standards for Mechanical and Automation Systems Design
